Mission Trails Tracking Walk

  • East Fortuna Staging Area - Ranger Station Equestrian Circle Santee, CA, 92071 United States (map)

Join experienced San Diego Tracking Team members for a wildlife tracking walk. Learn the art of discovering signs left behind by resident creatures during two hours of “dirt time.” Suitable for the whole family. Don’t forget to wear long pants, for kneeling down on your knees to get a closer look, and shoes suitable for trails. Meet in front of the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center. Rain Cancels.

Monthly tracking walks are held on the first Saturday of each month at Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) by the MTRP Tracking Team. This is a good way to start your tracker education! Appropriate for all ages. The walks start at 8:30 am and last about two hours.
