Survey Overview

A transect is a path through an area where we know (or believe) that wildlife has been observed. Our transects are described in the four pages which follow:
     Western Transects
     Poway / Ramona Transects
     East County Transects
     Desert Transects
A survey is an activity conducted by SDTT during which we look for, identify, and record wildlife track and sign. Surveys are generally conducted quarterly or semi-annually, depending on the transect.
